- October 7, 2026 — First-Round All-State Jazz & District 12 Honor Jazz Auditions @ Walton High School
- November 9–13, 2026 — All-State Jazz Second-Round Recording Window
For students who advance from the first-round audition. Specific recording date and details will be provided later.
- January 28–30, 2027 — All-State Jazz Band @ The Classic Center | Athens, Georgia
- April 15–17, 2027 — District 12 Honor Jazz Band
Rehearsals and performance in conjunction with the Taste of East Cobb Festival
Audition Fees
- District 12 Honor Jazz Only: $15
- All-State Jazz Only: $25
- All-State Jazz & District 12 Honor Jazz: $40
Important Registration Information
- If auditioning on more than one instrument, a separate registration form and payment must be submitted for each instrument.
- Registration is not complete until payment is received.
- Audition fees are non-refundable. GMEA does not issue refunds if a student does not audition.
- A small credit card processing fee is added at checkout to offset the fee charged to LBBA by the payment provider. There is no processing fee for payments made by bank account.
If Your Student Advances to the Second Round
Students who advance from the first-round All-State Jazz audition will complete a recorded second-round audition during the November 9–13 recording window.
There will be an additional recording fee for students who advance to the second round. Details, including the specific recording date and fee, will be provided once available.
